Peer evaluation process

Once the originals have been received, a preliminary review will be carried out within a maximum period of one month since their reception. These may be rejected for not conforming in content or presentation to the magazine's requirements.

The peer evaluation process is double-blind and therefore the confidentiality of authors and reviewers is always maintained. Two reviewers will be selected who are experts on the topic or methodology of the work, neither have conflicts of interest with the authors. One of the two evaluators, at least, must be external to the Advisory and Editorial Boards of the journal. They must report the original, using the form that the magazine will send them along with the text.

In the case of contradictory evaluations, a third evaluator will be used. The objections alleged by the authors to rule out certain people as reviewers of their work will be carefully analysed and if they are well reasoned, they will be respected.

According to the evaluators’ reports, the Editorial Board will decide to the publication of the article received, within a maximum period of six months since its reception. The author will receive a reasoned arguing the reasons for acceptance, the modifications that would have to be made, before its possible publication, or its rejection.

For those articles that require modifications, publication will always be conditional on them having been incorporated into the new version of the article. The final decision of publication corresponds, in any case, to the Editorial Board.

The list of external evaluators will be published every three years in the corresponding volume of the magazine. Thanking you for the collaboration provided.
